Christina Milian was born on September 26, 1981 in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. She began her career as a singer, signing a recording deal with Def Jam when she was 19. This was followed by the release of her self-titled debut album in 2001, featuring the songs “AM to PM” and “When You Look at Me”. Her second album, It’s About Time, was then released in 2004 with the hit songs “Dip It Low” and “Whatever U Want”. Two years after, her third album So Amazin’ was released but it was also around this time that she left her label, transferring to Interscope Records in 2009. She went on to sign with Young Money Entertainment in 2012. Aside from her singing career, she has also launched a career on film, making her debut in 1998’s The Wood and played her first lead role in 2003’s Love Don’t Cost a Thing. She has since starred in Man of the House, Be Cool, Pulse, and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
